‘These look great when strung together with the Pretty Jelly Fish’

Materials: small green plastic bottle, thin silver wire, quiche tin.

Equipment: craft knife, single hole punch, pair of scissors, cutting board, iron and a cloth to protect the iron, rose petal template, black/blue ballpoint pen.

Level of skill

Time to make: 30

1. Hold the plastic bottle on the cutting board. Using the craft knife cut off the bottom of the bottle.

2. Using the craft scissors cut down the sides of the quiche tin to the base in order to make it flat – see preparation of materials.

3. Make a rose petal template – see preparation of materials. Place the rose petal template on top of the quiche tin base and draw around using a pen.

4. Using the craft scissors cut out the curved shape of the template.

5. Using the hole punch, punch a hole at the top end of each petal of the quiche tin rose and one in the centre. Now place it in the bottom of the plastic bottle.

6. Punch one hole at the edge of the plastic bottle, close to the outer base of the bottle. Repeat this at the same place on the opposite side. (These holes will be used to thread through the silver wire that is holding the bauble)

7. Turn the iron on and place the cloth over the decoration (with the cut edge of the bottle facing upwards). Lay the iron on top of the cloth and leave it for 10-20 seconds until you feel the plastic edges of the bottle folding to encase the quiche tin.

8. Repeat steps 1-7 with a second plastic bottle and rose petal quiche tin template to make as many baubles as you want. Thread them together with the silver wire.
